One of the recurring issues I see when I meet entrepreneurs is that they tell me their company is perfect for everyone. Business coaches are particularly bad for thinking they are being clear but actually being quite vague with who it is they help.
If you're networking, making a promo or doing anything related to your business, you need to be able to say who it is exactly they you are helping.
Whether you are making a promo or hopping on a video conference call, you need to realize that what you hear is not what other people hear. You're not hearing the audio after it's gone through the microphone and into the computer, so make sure you test it.
Otherwise you could just be talking to yourself!
